Function

The OncoPANEL-lung test is used on patients suffering from lung cancer, for therapy selection based on the identification and characterization of cancer biomarkers present in the blood (plasma). Cancer biomarkers are found in cell-free circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and in tumor RNA fusion gene alterations (ALK, ROS or RET translocations). This OncoPanel test can also be used to identify residual tumors in patients who have undergone surgery or therapy.
