Function

The tissue clearing technique aims to make tissue transparent by minimizing light scattering and light absorption, thereby enabling deep imaging of large volume samples. This technique can produce a fine and detailed image of an organ or cell, in order to provide comprehensive information about the biological system of the organ or cell as a whole. Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) or bronchoalveolar washing is a procedure performed during bronchoscopy. BAL is used to collect a sample from the lungs, the sample will be used for testing. During this procedure, a saline solution is passed through the bronchoscope to wash the airways and take a sample of the fluid.
