KRAS Mutation (Exon 2)
Function
The KRAS Mutation test can detect mutations in codons 12 and 13 (exon 2) in the KRAS gene. The presence of the mutation correlates with the lack of response to the anti-monoclonal antibody EGFR for the treatment of metastatic cancer in colorectal cancer patients.
