Function
This test is used to look for specific mutations in exons 3 and 4 of the KRAS gene and exons 2, 3 and 4 of the NRAS gene. The presence of certain KRAS and NRAS mutations correlated with a lack of response to certain inhibitors of EGFR cancer therapy in metastatic colorectal cancer patients.
