Anti-Cryptococcus

This test is used to detect antibodies that indicate infection due to Cryptococcus neoformans on the nervous system. Cryptococcus neoformans is a yeast-like organism commonly found in pigeon droppings. Could be spread through animal's faeces, unwashed fruits and contact with infected patients especially found in patients with compromised immune systems.This organism is associated with chronic meningitis, skin, bone, pulmonary, and other infectious diseases.
