Function
Examination of alcohol in urine assesses the concentration of Ethylglucuronide (EtG) and Ethylsulfate (EtS) which are metabolites of ethanol (alcohol). EtG can be detected for 80 hours after alcohol consumption, while EtS can be detected for 24 hours or more after alcohol consumption, but this depends on an individual's metabolism and alcohol consumption patterns.
