Function
This test checks levels of estradiol, one of the most dominant types of estrogen in women who are not pregnant. This examination plays a role in determining the cause of delayed puberty in boys or girls, early puberty in girls, infertility menstrual disorders, monitoring therapy in menopausal women, as well as monitoring a certain type of tumor that produces estrogen.
