Influenza B, RT-PCR

This test is used to detect Influenza B in patient samples. Influenza B can be detected by PCR before diagnosis by immunological methods, in addition; PCR gives faster results than other methods, including culture methods. Influenza B or flu is a highly contagious respiratory virus. Influenza viruses cause respiratory illness that causes a variety of symptoms in humans, including nasal secretions, coughing, and decreased appetite.
