Influenza A, RT-PCR
Function
This test is used to detect Influenza A in patient samples. Influenza A can be detected by PCR before diagnosis by immunological methods, in addition; PCR gives faster results than other methods, including culture methods. Influenza A or flu is a highly contagious respiratory virus. Influenza viruses cause respiratory illness that causes a variety of symptoms in humans, including nasal secretions, coughing, and decreased appetite.
