ACA IgG
Function
Anticardiolipin antibodies (ACA) is a group of autoantibodies that attack cardiolipin (a substance contained in cells and platelets). This examination is useful for establishing the diagnosis of anti-phospholipid syndrome (APS). ACA autoantibody activity can cause several diseases, such as autoimmune disease, recurrent abortion, and blood clotting disease. ACA examination consists of ACA IgG and IgM tests.
